De SPR organiseert ongeveer 3 maal per jaar een presentatie van een vooraanstaande wetenschapper die u live via uw browser kunt volgen. De bedoeling is dat er 3 zogenaamde 'discussants' zijn die kritische vragen zullen stellen maar ook de deelnemers krijgen een kans vragen te stellen. De eerste (engelstalige) WEBINAR's waren vooral gericht op experts in binnen- en buitenland. Voor leden van de SPR is het bijwonen van de webinars voorlopig gratis. Video-registraties voor zover beschikbaar vindt u bij de verschillende Webinar aankondigingen in het linker menu of bij het tab-blad 'onderwijs'.

Abstract:
“In many in vivo and in vitro experiments over the course of 40 years, I have reliable data that demonstrates beyond reasonable doubt that “healing” can cure a variety of conditions, that dose is a factor, that healing proceeds non-linearly, that it is not fundamentally “energy” but “information,” that it is not correlated to a particular state of mind but functions more as an autonomic response to the need of the healee, to name but a few findings My current research includes the question of whether healing can be “captured” and “reproduced” without the healer. In other words, can we store and independently deliver healing in a practical and scalable fashion? Selected research on what approaches and materials can function to store healing intention will be presented, along with current work designed to test whether these approaches are more likely to function as “alternative” or “complimentary” therapies.”
Bill Bengston is emeritus professor statistiek en onderzoeksmethoden aan de St. Joseph’s Universiteit in New York, en was president van de Society for Scientific Exploration, een internationale groep van wetenschappers die abnormaliteiten bestudeert. Dr. Bengston heeft gedurende meer dan 40 jaar onderzoek gedaan naar paranormale genezing waarover uitgebreid is gerapporteerd in het Tijdschrift voor Parapsychologie & Bewustzijnsonderzoek Vol 88, nr. 1 &2 uit 2021.
